Redondo Beach Pier and Ocean Activities

Boating, Surfing, Stand Up Paddle Boarding and Swimming

The Pier is located in South Redondo Beach between the Esplanade and Redondo Beach Marina. Order take-out and enjoy the sunset from the pier or a picnic on the beach or at one of the nearby public parks. Build a sand castle, fly a kite, play frisbee or smashball, run, walk, bike or skate along the Esplanade. Boogie board, sail, scuba dive, skimboard, snorkel or surf south of the Pier. Swim at the beach or in Seaside Lagoon. Take a ride aboard a mini yellow semi-submarine with underwater viewing of the local sea life or a narrated harbor nature cruise. Experience a seasonal whale watching trip (December – April). Rent a kayak, pedal boat or stand up paddle board (SUP) and take a self-guided tour of King Harbor. Sailing and SUP lessons and storage are also available. Charter a boat or join others for a half or full day of sportfishing or fish in one of the designated areas along the Pier. The shops on the pier and boardwalk carry all of the essential beach items you might need. Enjoy lunch or dinner on the Pier or boardwalk after one of the many family friendly activities.
